Learn how simple it is to make elegant, irresistibly delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries with just 2 ingredients. This version is vegan, paleo, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Includes a video.

After trying a handful of quick candy recipes, I kept coming back to the classic: chocolate-dipped strawberries. They’re simple, elegant, and perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you want a special treat without a lot of fuss.
These strawberries are coated in dairy-free chocolate and are naturally gluten-free and paleo-friendly. Whether you prefer dark chocolate, white chocolate, or a fun strawberry-flavored coating, dipping fresh berries creates a beautiful result every time.

I planned to decorate mine with chopped nuts, sprinkles, and a strawberry-flavored drizzle, but once the strawberries were dipped, they didn’t need much else. Still, a light drizzle of extra chocolate adds a professional touch if you want to get fancy.
These are incredibly tempting — you’ll probably want to sample a few before sharing. The process is straightforward: wash and dry the berries, melt the chocolate, dip, and let them set. The most time-consuming step is drying the strawberries thoroughly, which ensures the chocolate adheres and sets nicely.

Line a tray with wax or parchment paper, melt your chocolate using a double boiler or short bursts in the microwave (stirring between heating intervals), then dip each berry by the stem. Place them on the prepared sheet, add any optional drizzle or toppings, and allow them to set at room temperature or in the fridge for a quicker finish. I usually let them set at room temperature for the best texture.
